A Round-Up Of All My Winter Hat Designs

I don’t know about where you live, but here the weather (rather rapidly) turned chilly (freezing, actually!), so today I thought I would “round up” all of my original winter hat patterns for you. And, for the record, I’m busily preparing yet another hat pattern to publish soon čÖé

To get to the pattern page, click on the pattern name under the photo.

I’ll begin with sharing the most viewed hat pattern here on the blog (it’s actually the most viewed post and pattern overall!):

Winter Baby Hats

Winter Baby Hats  This set includes 4 sizes, from Newborn to Toddler/Small Child. It uses Red Heart Super Saver yarn and size I/5.5 mm hook.

Next is the most favorited of all of my hat designs (and all of my designs overall) on Ravelry:

Cluster Love Slouchy

Cluster Love Slouchy This hat comes in one size (Adult). It uses Caron Simply Soft yarn and size H/5 mm hook.

Another very popular design is this one, which has an original version as well as a revised version:

Merry-Go-Baby Hat

Merry-Go-Baby Hat This is the original version, which is available in only one size (3-6 months), and uses Bernat Baby Sport yarn and a size 3.55 mm hook. (See next photo below for revised version)

Merry-Go-Hat- Revised Pattern This revised version is sized from Newborn through Adult (7 sizes), and uses Bernat Softee Baby and a size F/3.75 mm hook.

Now for the rest of my hat designs čÖé :

You Are My Sunshine Infant's Hat

You Are My Sunshine Infant’s Hat┬áThis hat is sized for Newborn through 12 months, and uses Red Heart Soft Touch with a size H/5 mm hook.

Minty Winter Children's Hats

Minty Winter Children’s Hats┬áThis hat is available in 5 sizes, from Newborn through toddler, and uses Red Heart Super Saver with a size I/5.5 mm hook.

Little Souls Newborn Beanie & Thumbless Mittens

Little Souls Newborn Beanie & Thumbless Mittens Just for newborns (up to about 3 months old), this set is made using Red Heart Super Saver and a size I/5.5 mm hook.

Laguna Slouchy┬áThis hat is one of my favorites ÔŁĄ It’s made using Lion Brand Homespun yarn and a size K/6.5 mm hook. One size available (adult).

Toddler Hat & Mittens Set

Toddler Hat & Mittens Set Sized to fit children 2-3 years old, it is made using both size H/5 mm and size I/5.5 mm hooks, along with Red Heart Super Saver Ombre yarn.

Pumpkin Hat & Thumbless Mittens┬áThese are made using Red Heart Super Saver yarn with a size I/5.5 mm hook. It fits a 6-9 month old child.┬á A cute idea for Halloween and Autumn in general čÖé

Cross-Stitched Cutie Baby Hat Sized for Newborn through 3 months old, it uses Baby Bee Sweet Delight yarn with a size 4.5 mm hook.

Forever Young Hat┬áA pretty hat for women! It is a little bit larger than a regular sized adult hat, but that’s so that it can be worn over thick, wavy, or styled hair čÖé This is made in one size only, using Caron Simply Soft yarn and a size H/5 mm hook.

Granny’s Hugs Toddler Hat┬áThis hat will fit a child from about 2 1/2 years old to 4 or 5 years old.┬á It was made large to accomodate my daughter’s afro čÖé Yarn used is Lion Brand Vanna’s Choice, with a size J/6 mm hook.┬á

Amanda’s Recycled Bulky Beanie┬áThe original (shown in this photo above) was made using an unknown (forgotton) brand of bulky yarn, but I remade it last year using Lion Brand Homespun and a size 9 mm hook. It is sized L/XL, but fits a bit more snug when using the Homespun yarn (see photo below).

And so that is all for my crocheted winter hat designs, for now! I hope you find something you like, and if you make any of them, be sure to add a photo of your project to Ravelry or post them in the comments so that I can see them čÖé

Until next time, happy hooking and keep warm!

PS- if you knit too, I have a some free knit hat patterns which you can find on┬áMy Knitting Blog┬á(Amanda Bryant Knit Designs) Thanks! ÔŁĄ
