I really love how the mane and tail are made on this unicorn. All of the other unicorn (or horse) patterns I’ve used required knotting in the hair. In this pattern, the mane (or tail) is crocheted in one piece and then the whole piece is sewn into place. I also like the fact that the legs and body are made in one piece. You don’t make the legs separate and then sew them into place. It can be a little bit tricky at times, but I think this pattern would be okay for an advanced beginner in amigurumi. The key is patience and stitch count.
