A friend of mine requested this particular set for his two year old granddaughter after seeing a photo of one that I made for my own daughter a few years ago. I’ve had the pattern saved in my Google Drive for a number of years, and once I began working on the hoodie I remembered how flawed the pattern is (the writing of it), especially the hat portion of the pattern. Unfortunately, there is no revised edition of the pattern anywhere (that I can find).
The hoodie is easy to make, so long as you are not an absolute beginner at crocheting or reading patterns. The hat…I had to almost completely make my own version of it!
While I can’t direct you to a revised pattern, you can follow this link on All Free Crochet. It shows the entire pattern as it was originally written. Since I had to make my own version of the hat, I will make a separate post about it once I get it typed out (it will only be for the size 2-4 however). Directions are included for size 6-12 months, 18-24 months and 2-4 years.
UPDATE: here is my revised version of the hat, for child size 2-4.
Caron Simply Soft Brites yarn- 2 skeins of Blue Mint and 1 skein of Grape (required for the size 2-4 that I made)
Size 5 mm hook
I managed to get my gauge pretty much spot on, so the finished measurement of this size 2-4 hoodie is about: Chest- 26 3/4 inches, Length- 11 inches, as the pattern shows.
