Crochet Coraline Doll Pattern Revised 2013 by Amigurumi To Go
I started making these dolls without first looking at the original pattern, to see the differences between the revisions made. In the introduction to the revised pattern (which is the link above) it states that this version is less “fiddly” than the original. However, as I was making these dolls I thought they were very “fiddly” to make and at times I became disgruntled with how the work was progressing. THEN I read the original pattern, and I changed my outlook completely! This revised version of the Coraline doll is defintely extremely less fiddly than the original! So, if you decide to check out this pattern, make sure you compare to the original version, and you will appreciate the changes that were made.
I finished making these dolls a couple of weeks ago (yes, I’ve fallen behind on the blogging portion of my projects, again). Looking back now, I think I should’ve used smaller buttons for eyes, or perhaps even crocheted the eyes or used safety eyes. I feel like my dolls are much less appealing than the ones shown in the pattern.
