Pattern(s) Used:
For the blanket- Little Clouds Crochet Blanket Pattern by Lisa Auch
For the elephant applique- Elephant Applique Pattern by Hooking Housewives
The blanket was really easy to make (it uses the super simple repetitive Blanket Stitch pattern), but since I used a lightweight baby yarn it seemed to take forever to work up. I think it took me a total of roughly 40 hours to complete this blanket. It would go a lot quicker using a medium weight yarn.
Supplies Used:
Bernat Baby Sport yarn- colors Baby Pink and White (about 3 large balls of pink for the blanket)
Big Twist Value yarn- color Soft Gray (for the elephant applique)
Mainstays Basics yarn- color Black (very small amount for the elephant’s eyes)
4.5 mm crochet hook for the blanket (but for my foundation ch for the blanket I used a 5 mm hook)
5 mm crochet hook for the elephant applique
Finished Measurements:
After the border, approximately 40 inches wide by 50 inches long.
