That’s how to describe my life right now, and I am not complaining! I’ve been working hard on getting Christmas crochet (and knit) projects completed, and so far, I think I am keeping on track!
My daughter Olivia, who just turned 5 last week,
has been home all week from school on Fall Break, and so it’s been a bit tough trying to get all of my projects completed. She is an attention seeker, and constantly wants me to do EVERYTHING for her, so I’ve had to figure out how to keep up with her demands as well as get my work done. So, I’ve got about 4 or 5 projects on the go (at least), and when she returns to school tomorrow I’ll begin to finish them all up (I have a few bags of body parts to sew together, lol, and a lot of loose ends to weave in!).
A while ago I was asked if I could re-create (copy) a Dogman themed hat that someone found online. I found the original photo, and it turns out to be an Etsy listing for the finished project, with no pattern. So, I am assuming that the lady who made that hat has her own original pattern (that she hasn’t shared), and therefore, I have not included my copycat hat in any of my posts here (until now). I am not claiming this pattern as my own, no way no how, lol, but I do want to share a photo of the hat I made! So here it is! (No link to the Etsy listing, sorry). I have to be honest, I don’t want to ever make this hat again!
Once the Christmas season is over with, I plan to get back to creating my own designs again. I have a few new patterns in progress, but I’ve been so busy I haven’t been able to devote any time to them! (see Owl Amigurumi and Penguin Amigurumi). I’d also like to do more tutorials and round ups!
However, I do hope that when you read my posts here about all of my finished projects you find inspiration for your own projects!
Until my next post, Happy Hookin’!
