Materials Used:
Lion Brand Mandala Baby yarn (100% Acrylic; 5.3 oz/150 g; 590 yd/540 m)- Color “Wishing Well” – about 2 ¼ cakes (approximately 11.92 oz/337.5 g; 1327.5 yd/1215 m)
Size H-8/ 5 mm hook
Yarn needle (for weaving in ends)
Gauge:
4 v-st= 2”, 6 rows of v-st= 2”
Finished Measurements:
about 62” long x 20” wide
Abbreviations Used (American Terminology):
Ch- chain
RS- right side (of work)
WS- wrong side (of work)
Dc- double crochet
Sk- skip
St- stitch
Sp- space
V-St- V-stitch (dc, ch 1, dc) in specified st
Instructions:
Ch 75
Row 1 (RS)- dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc), ch 1, dc in same ch, sk next ch, V-St in next ch, *sk next ch, V-St in next ch, repeat from * across to the last ch, dc in the last ch, ch 3 (counts as first dc of next row), turn (36 V-St and 2 dc made)
Row 2 (WS)- V-St in the ch-1 sp of the first V-St, *V-St in ch-1 sp of the next next V-St, repeat from * across to the last dc, dc in the last dc, ch 3 (counts as first dc of next row), turn
Repeat Row 2 until wrap measures 60” long, end by working a WS row (so RS is facing for edging).
Edging (RS)- make 2 dc in each ch-1 sp across row, make 1 dc in the last dc (74 dc)
Fasten off.
Next, with RS facing, attach yarn in the first unused loop of the foundation chain. Ch 3 (counts as a dc). Make 1 dc in each unused loop and skipped ch of the foundation chain. (74 dc) Fasten off.
Weave in all ends.
