If this hat looks familiar, it is because it’s a new variation of my Granny’s Hugs Toddler Hat. I was recently asked if I could make the hat in an adult size, and after many attempts, without manipulating the pattern too much, this is what I came up with. The changes to the original pattern include yarn type, hook size, and stitch count, however, I think the hat still looks very similar, close to identical, as the original.
I’ve included a few notes (typed in bold) throughout the pattern, in places where you can customize the fit to your personal liking, so please be sure to read through the pattern in it’s entirety before you begin.

You will probably need to switch to a 4.5mm hook, or smaller, for the ribbed cuff, as it will be very loose).

Fasten off and weave in ends.
