My daughter Olivia, pictured above, is nearing One Year Old already! (She’s only a few weeks old in the photo) I really don’t have a clue where the time goes to. One minute I’m in the delivery room, the next she’s trying to walk!
I’m trying to decide what to make her to mark this milestone. Clothing? A toy? Something she’ll hopefully treasure forever, and possibly pass on to her children.
While I am figuring this out, I want to share the pattern for the sweater and hat set shown in the photo above. The pattern is called “Twin Sweater Set” and is available for free from RedHeart.com HERE and comes in sizes newborn, 6 months and 12 months. The sizing I followed was obviously newborn.
I actually finished making this little set for her only a couple of hours before I went into labor with her. She grew so fast she only got to wear the outfit a few times. But it’s stowed away in a box in the closet with her other memories.
I hope that if you decide to make this little set, it will be treasured forever just as the one I made will be.
Enjoy your weekend!
Amanda
